Parking Lot Pre-Bonnaroo-Bash

OK, things got a little crazy last night since I jotted down a few notes yesterday, so let catch up a little.  Our brave team of 4 (made up of JACK-fm staff members Tina, Marty, Jenn, and myself) won’t be able to get into our parking area until 9am this morning, so we headed out to Manchester yesterday after we packed up our recreational vehicle.  We had a few interesting things happen along the way...

1. Just after pulling the RV into the JACK parking lot, the AC tripped a breaker.  For normal folks it’s not a big deal, but we're radio dorks.  We have no idea what we’re doing so we immediately launched into a raging panic.

2. Marty, my boss, took time to build decking for all of us to sit out on during our down times this weekend.  It was measured to perfectly fit under the RV’s awning, but we couldn’t fit the well designed pieces into the RV.  We had to leave it behind.

3. On the short trip down we encountered several officers of the law, with a couple of them successfully using their hand cuffs.  The party never got started this weekend for a couple of dudes.

New this year, Bonnaroo decided to open their gates on Wednesday for attendees to try to squash traffic woes on I-24. So, we were afraid that when we arrived for the annual parking lot party at the Wal-Mart in Manchester that no one would be there.  Thankfully, we were wrong.  Oh, and the last we checked their was still a 6 mile back up of cars.  Wow.

OK, here’s a taste of what went down....
