Just before the “Meeting of Every Listener Tour” started, I was invited to go meet and skate with the Nashville Roller Girls.  They were so cool!  So, I took my K-mart blue light special in-line skates and headed to their practice facility at the fairgrounds to learn some of the tricks of roller derby. 

Everyday JACK-fm gets a call or three asking “What Song Was That?”  So, to help you get acquainted (wow, that was a big word for me) with the songs, I thought I’d throw down some info for ya.  Today just before 1pm we played this song….

Holy Crap, It’s Hot! (Duh!) And today is the first day of summer?  At this point, the weather dudes can shove it with their “heat indexes” & “feels like” temperatures.

On Tuesday, June 22, at the Bridgestone Arena is the huge Nashville Rising Concert.  This sold out show will feature artist such as Tim McGraw, ZZ Top, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Carrie Underwood, and so on…  I’m sure you’ve heard of it by now.

Un-Bee-Leave-Ah-Bull!!  What a great show!  I have to admit, on paper this years Bonnaroo seemed like it wasn’t going to have that much bang for its buck like in previous years.  I am happy to admit…I was wrong….again!

I don’t think I have to mention how hot it is at Bonnaroo this year…but I just did so there!  The heat is pretty crazy, but one benefit of it…less clothing. Well, not always…

Just hiked it back to the JACK-fm camper of love, peace, and I think at 8:30 – Beer Pong! While inside Centeroo (the center of Bonnaroo) we got to know a few of the nearly 80 some odd thousand of people here in Manchester, TN. Give me a few and I’ll let you see it on 963jackfm.com

So, after getting up, and skipping out on the hour wait for the shower, and the help of a lot of deodorant....I think I’m ready for day two of Bonnaroo.
