NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — “The Tennessee State Fair will take place in conjunction with the Wilson County Fair this year. Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee will sign a bill to move the Tennessee State Fair from Nashville to Wilson County, FOX 17 News has confirmed. The bill, HB 1286/SB 1155 by Rep. Pat Marsh (R-Shelbyville) and Sen. Ferrell Haile (R-Gallatin), cleared the Senate Monday and previously passed in the House on April 22. It was also proposal was in Lee’s first budget with an allocation of $5.3 million announced in April.”
